Overview
Anne brings 20 years of experience counseling and representing investor-owned public utility clients in regulatory proceedings, appeals, and business lititation.
Anne has represented clients in dozens of natural gas, electric, and water / sewer proceedings, including rate litigation, alternative rate litigation, rate design investigations, cost and revenue reconciliations, merger / reorganization approvals, financing approvals, affiliate transactions, utility tariffs, rulemakings, energy efficiency, and certification proceedings before the Illinois Commerce Commission. She also has served as counsel in appeals of agency decisions.
Anne has represented utility clients in complex litigation in Illinois state and federal courts. She also has extensive experience representing insurance companies in class actions and business disputes, including claims for fraud, unfair trade practices, and breach of contract.
Anne is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and a member of the Chicago Bar Association’s Alliance for Women.
Prior to joining Whitt Sturtevant, Anne was a partner at Jenner & Block and a boutique law firm focused on serving environmental and utility clients.
