Overview

Christine regularly represents clients in regulatory proceedings before state utility commissions and appellate courts. She has experience litigating and securing regulatory approvals in rate cases, transmission line and facility siting proceedings, reconciliations, financing dockets, and other related matters. Christine also advises clients in the energy sector regarding statutory and regulatory compliance.

Christine maintains a litigation practice as well and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in state court, federal court, and arbitration, including matters involving breach of contract, business torts, antitrust issues, fraud, and class actions. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including pre-filing counseling and claims/defense analysis, preparation of pleadings, briefing and motions practice, offensive and defensive discovery, preparation and examination of witnesses, complex e-discovery and document management, and appellate oral argument.

Prior to joining Whitt Sturtevant, Christine was an associate in the Chicago office of Jones Day, where she practiced in the Business & Tort Litigation practice group. She then clerked for Judge James G. Carr of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
